Meet Premvarsha @yog_varsha sharing her #yogasavedmylife story with us. These are her words ๐Ÿ’š

"I have gone through several life-changing experiences. When I was around 8 years of age I had my first near-death experience on the banks of the Ganges in Varanasi. At age of 17, I almost died because of brain fever

Those experiences shook me from inside & compelled me to go within in search for my true self in which pranayama & meditation played a very important role. This is when I discovered yoga in its true sense. You can say my journey started

.

I am so fortunate I was born to a lady who is really grounded & spiritual. She was the first person who sowed this seed of spirituality or yoga unknowingly into my Heart. Her words still guide me: "There is a divine energy which is always watching you & guiding you & one day you have to go back to that source, that's the real purpose

.

After finishing an M.B.A, I started working in a stockbroking firm & was doing really well financially, but physically & mentally depressed. There was always an emptiness in my heart. "This is not what I want. This is not me," I would tell myself every day

.

Eventually, I decided to leave my Job and to go deep into the process of self-exploration through yoga. A whole new perspective took over & I graduated & postgraduated in yoga besides going on extensive travels to spiritual places

.

I started giving private sessions of meditation & pranayama & continued my personal practice. Later I had an opportunity to come to Rishikesh & worked with different schools of Yoga as a pranayama & Meditation teacher, which really helped me in my inner & outer journey because I learned a lot while teaching and still learning

.

Yoga changed my life totally. For me, yoga is a continuous process which is happening every single second, Here & now with every single breath

.

I believe & feel that one should listen to their heart โ™ฅ their intuition as that's the place of a continuous flow of Divine love, compassion, acceptance, clarity, & surrender: it always leads you in the right direction: home. To your true self

.

I will say Yoga introduced me to my purpose, my true source, to myself ๐Ÿ™"
