Our Chess Commons partnership supports Ukrainian veterans, people recovering from serious injuries and amputations, and others undergoing rehabilitation at UNBROKEN in Lviv. Fierce Calm sponsored an accessible chess table at UNBROKEN Rehabilitation Centre in Lviv, helping create a dedicated space for inclusive chess activities. The table enables people with different mobility needs, including wheelchair users, to participate more comfortably. Through the Chess Commons partnership, chess becomes an opportunity for social interaction, friendly competition and community engagement within the rehabilitation setting.
