Meet Abigail Jefferson @fatola77 sharing her story with us. These are her words 💚

"I was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma cancer back in July 2019 & my world was turned upside down. It led to spinal surgery due to a fracture in my T7 vertebra & six months of chemotherapy"

. "Happily, my doctor just declared me in remission, which means I am cancer free! However, she did tell me this past Friday that I have a new fracture in the lumbar region of my spine

. I’ve been a yoga practitioner for many years, & this diagnosis really shocked me. The cancer and spinal fracture severely limit what I can do physically

.

I still practice yoga, but I am easy and gentle with myself. While undergoing medical treatment, I supplemented my healing with daily breath work, meditation, prayer, visualizations, and gentle postures. Now I am in recovery, working to regain my strength & stamina. I am mindful in my practice & I am still working to heal" 💚 Abigail .
