Meet @allie_alina sharing her #yogasavedmylife story with us. These are her words 💚
.
. "At the age of 20 I had already owned a thriving business and was making everyone around me either proud or jealous of the success. Needless to say, the pressure was through the roof. I felt as if I had to go on, as if I couldn’t stop and on top of that I was struggling with delegating the workload, while still having very little understanding of what I was doing at least 50% of the time. I started struggling with eating disorders and depression. What can I say, I guess there is a reason people at 20 shouldn’t have businesses
.
A yoga class was a random, spontaneous decision, which changed my life. A short “Me” time during the practice resulted in uncontrollable tears in Savasana and much needed self reflection. Long story short - two months later I signed the documents to sell the business and took my first Yoga Teacher Training
.
Half way through that first training I knew I wanted to share this practice with as many people as possible. My urge to learn and to pass the knowledge on was absolutely uncontrollable - my first yoga job happened within less than a week of graduating and I have never stopped since
.
Now, after a few years of being in the yoga world, I see my dharma in spreading the awareness and sharing this practice. My personal practice changes daily on all levels: from physical to philosophical and one of the greatest joys I have is seeing how students resonate with these changes as I open up. I love seeing how they find support, understanding that they are not alone in it, how they begin to trust the process, how they befriend a change - the only constant in life
.
My journey has just begun and I could not be more excited to see and share how it unfolds 🙏
