Meet Liza @liza_does_yoga sharing her #yogasavedmylife story with us. These are her words 💚

"Two months after recovering from back surgery, depressed & sad, I stepped onto my yoga mat & into my asana practice for the first time 6 years ago

With the encouragement of my Mom & my sister by my side, we started practicing asana together, as a form of physical therapy

.

Immediately, I met my guru. I did not have the typical “yoga body”, but that didn’t stop me

.

.

I sat on my mat & mainly watched all the yogis for a bit. My guru always fueled my passion and my spark and often pushed me deeper into my practice

.

Fast forward six years later, and I am still deep in practice, & I have been a certified yoga teacher for three years & teaching as much as I can! Yoga has been there for me through depression, deaths, struggles, break-ups, happiness, health, & major milestones

Yoga never judges me

.

.

I am forever grateful. Yoga saved my life💚

.

Namaste, Liza 🙏"
